Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our inpatient rehabilitation program, providing specialized care to help individuals regain their independence following an injury or illness.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to patients recovering from neurological conditions, strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual rehabilitation plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their functional needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Utilize advanced therapy equipment and techniques to enhance recovery and promote independence.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with neuro rehabilitation is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Shift availability includes days and weekends, with a guaranteed 20 hours per week. Successful candidates will be recognized for their commitment to maximizing the health, function, and quality of life of patients through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
