Physical Therapist

Position Information

• Department: Physical Therapy
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Days – 5×8
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Must work one weekend per month on Saturday at inpatient

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: Must possess a valid PT license in good standing and have outpatient experience.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year.
• Preferred Skills: Additional certifications related to outpatient care are a plus.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of Therapy Leadership, the Physical Therapist is responsible for adhering to departmental policies and procedures while providing:

• Objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Performance of Initial Assessment/Plan of Care for each patient upon receiving a physician’s order, adhering to standards of care.
