Float Outpatient Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

This opportunity is a temporary-to-permanent position for a Float Outpatient Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) in the Seattle area. The selected candidate will provide support across multiple outpatient clinics, covering various specialties.

Schedule

• Full-time: 5×8 hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities required.

Responsibilities

• Float between various outpatient clinics within three regions of the Seattle area, addressing same-day staffing needs.
• Receive daily scheduling notifications through a text message from the Staffing Supervisor early in the morning.
• Participate in a structured orientation program, working alongside a preceptor for 4 to 5 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an MA-C in settings such as General Practice, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatric outpatient clinics is required.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically EPIC, is required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary to travel between different clinic locations.
