Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

Shifts will include days, evenings, and nights, with weekend and holiday availability required as well as on-call and callback responsibilities based on unit needs. The position offers options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards, focusing on clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, research, and evidence-based practice. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this role assumes an expanded level of responsibility, which may include serving as a charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member.

Requirements

• New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
• Telemetry experience is required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
