Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an Acute Care setting. As a float nurse, you will be assigned to various units based on staffing needs, providing essential care to patients in multiple departments.

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Duration: 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Ratios

Patient nurse ratios may vary based on unit needs, but are typically 1:6.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting
• First-time travelers are considered

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Special Requirements

• Must have Cerner EMR experience
• Active, unencumbered TN (or multi-state) RN license is required. Pending licenses are not accepted.
• Block schedule accommodations cannot be made.

The float nurse will rotate among the following units:

• 12E – Medical Comfort Care
• 11E – Surgery and GI
• 10E – Trauma
• 8E – Medical
• 7S – Observation
• 5E – Medical
• 5W – Oncology
• 4S – Medical Nephrology
• 9E – Ortho
• 7E – Joint Replacement/Ortho
• 6S & 6E – Neuro
• 9H – Vascular
• 8H – Pulmonary
• 7H – Cardiac Surgery
• 4H – Cardiac

Compliance Details

Scrubs must be Royal Blue.
