Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team in the MS/TELE units. The successful candidate must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. This position requires flexibility for holiday shifts and working every other weekend. Nurses can choose to work either 36 or 48 hours per week, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6.

Education Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing

Certifications Required:

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Red Cross CPR Certification

Certifications Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Licenses Required:

• Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a compact license (No Temporary Licenses accepted)
• NURSYS certification

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience in a specialty; however, candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license may be considered if they have 1 year of recent experience in the specific specialty.
