ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ICU RN will provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and changes in condition, reacting swiftly to medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.

Shift Information

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3×12-hour rotations (19:00 – 07:00).
• Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• EKG exam required; candidates must pass without exceptions.
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours based on contracted shifts, with a call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.
• This role requires the RN to be flexible with scheduling and be available to accommodate various needs.
• Local candidates are not accepted, and there is a 50-mile radius rule from the main site.

Return Staff Policy

• Candidates must have been absent from employment for at least 1 year to return as a traveler.
• There is a 2 contract limit; extensions available once, and candidates must wait 6 months to return thereafter.
