ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join a floating nursing team. This role will involve working in various units, including Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and Overflow units as needed.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Critical Care setting.
• Licensure: Active CA RN License.
• Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger.
• Special Skills: Experience with PA Line and Swan Ganz is mandatory. Applications lacking this experience will not be considered.
• Hospital Experience: Experience in a large hospital setting is required.

Job Details

• Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week are available.
• Weekend Requirements: Weekends are required.
• Floating Requirements: This is a float position; flexibility to float to various units is required.
• Pending Licenses: No pending licenses; must hold an active license upon submission.
• Scheduling: No scheduling requests can be accommodated. A maximum of 7 days off is permitted, with no requests for time off within the initial two weeks of the assignment.

Additional Information

This role entails being part of an ICU Float Pool, with responsibilities including patient care across various units as necessary, including Overflow PACU, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and Stepdown units. Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate their relevant experience in a phone interview.
