Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist responsible for operating x-ray and computed tomography (CT) equipment to support the medical imaging department in accomplishing operational objectives and goals. The ideal candidate will perform at least two modalities regularly and create a conducive environment for departmental success.

Essential Functions

• Perform various radiographic and computed tomography procedures in accordance with established protocols and personal experience.
• Competently execute two imaging modalities effectively.
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Test defibrillators and verify the integrity of the crash cart as needed.
• Perform mobile imaging examinations, including radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Safely prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures.
• Execute additional job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent: Preferred
• Master’s Degree: Preferred
• Three years’ technical experience in the field: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice: Required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required
• Certification in two additional advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Sonography (S): Preferred

Organizational Requirements

All associates are required to receive all mandatory vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. E-Verify participation is also part of our employment verification process.

Additional Comments

This position requires working the night shift, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Familiarity with Siemens CT technology and the Epic system is advantageous. Candidates must be proficient in both x-ray and CT procedures.
