Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Information

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient position. The therapist will primarily work during daytime hours, guaranteed for 32+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and reassessments of patients with orthopedic, neuro, and chronic pain conditions.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Utilize standard outpatient therapy equipment and access to fitness center and pool facilities.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system, Meditech.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in accordance with regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Physical Therapy License is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience preferred; new graduates are not eligible for this position.
• Graduation from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program is required.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience with common diagnoses including orthopedic conditions (total joints, rotator cuff injuries, joint pain), neurological conditions (TBI, stroke), and low back/cervical pain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and staff.

• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color are acceptable; business casual attire is not permitted.
• Patient-to-staff ratio for evaluations and reassessments is 1:1.
