Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty, demonstrating a strong clinical background and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients in complex medical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous lines as necessary.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from AHA.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for a 10-hour shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility is necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays, including two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
