Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients with a variety of diagnoses, including memory care, dementia, and orthopedic conditions.

Shift Information

• Shifts available: 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio

The staff-to-patient ratio is two nurses during day and evening shifts and one nurse during the night shift, ensuring adequate attention and care for all patients.

Orientation

New staff will undergo a location-specific orientation that includes building orientation and familiarization with equipment such as lifts. This orientation typically lasts 2-4 hours.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
