Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Provide patient education and support to families during crisis situations.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Must possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting is required.
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Must be able to work 6 weekends every 6 weeks.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:3 effectively.

Work Schedule

This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, specifically during daytime hours from 07:00 to 19:00.

Dress Code

Staff are required to wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except for specific departments.
