Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care on the Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Schedule Details

• Night shifts, 3×12-hour schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Weekends required: One weekend every two weeks.
• Block scheduling available.

Facility Information

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center.
• Scrub Color: Any color; Surgical services provided.
• Charting System: Epic.
• Parking: No parking fees.

Patient Care Ratios

Expected nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1.
