Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Responsibilities:

• Prioritize start of care visits.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Report start of care visits by the next day.
• Complete clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of visits.
• Maintain timely communication with supervisors and office staff.
• Be responsive during normal business hours.

Requirements:

• California Occupational Therapy License.
• One year of Home Health experience.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Training:

Three full days of training, including one in-house day and two field days.

Documentation System:

Kinnser.

Equipment Issued:

• iPad
• Ring Central

Reimbursements:

• Mileage reimbursement from the first to last patient.
• Parking and toll reimbursement paid.

Productivity Requirement:

A minimum of 30 points per week is required, with a point to hourly conversion of 1 point equaling 1.33 hours. Caseloads and visit mixes per day should average 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Overtime must be pre-approved by the Clinical Supervisor.

Visit Type and Point Value:

• Start of Care: 2 points
• Recertification, Resumption of Care, OASIS Discharge, Evaluation: 1.5 points
• Revisit, Non-OASIS Discharge: 1 point
