Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate with medical staff to ensure the best outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the birthing process.
• Assist with emergency interventions as needed to maintain patient safety.
• Participate in orientation and training programs for new staff.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to maintain the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• Education: Must hold a valid nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery nursing required.
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • BLS
  • NRP
• Preferred Certifications: AWHONN Advanced.

Scheduling and Work Details

• Shifts: Night shift, 3×12 hour schedule (19:00 – 07:00).
• Orientation: 36 hours of comprehensive training provided.
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 3 patients.
• Floating: May require floating between similar units.
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off once during the two-week pay period.

Local candidates will not be considered. Pending licenses are not accepted. Request for time off (RTO) must be specified at the time of submission.
