Vascular Access Nurse

Job Overview

This role involves providing specialized vascular access nursing services in a variable day shift capacity. The nurse will be required to work flexible hours based on departmental needs.

Shifts Available

The scheduled shifts for this position may include:

• 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective vascular access for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Monitor and manage patient care and response to interventions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on vascular access procedures and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
• Previous experience in vascular access or related nursing specialty preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced certifications in vascular access preferred.
