Sleep Laboratory Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sleep Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position involves working nights and is focused on conducting sleep studies and ensuring patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sleep studies and maintain integrity of sleep data.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and document changes throughout the night.
• Prepare equipment and ensure proper functioning of sleep study devices.
• Provide patient education regarding sleep disorders and testing procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues during sleep studies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sleep Laboratory Technician.
• Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current state licensure is required.

Schedule

This position is for night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday.

Contract Duration

The initial duration of this position is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and needs.
