Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will help individuals regain their independence and enhance their quality of life after an injury or illness. This position focuses on providing specialized treatment and personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to the unique needs of patients.

Position Information:

• Department: Rehabilitation
• Role: Occupational Therapist
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 8 AM – 4 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Once a month
• Call Requirements: Not applicable

Qualifications:

• Required Certifications: PT
• Minimum Experience: 1-3 years as an OT

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 40
• Patient Population: General
• EHR: EPIC, Rehab Connect

Common Diagnoses/Treatments:

• Stroke
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Spinal Cord Injury
• Debility

Required Skills and Experience:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
• Interest and experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation preferred

Education:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
