Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience required in a related field.

Certifications and Requirements

• Oregon State RN License Required
• General Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS/BCLS
  • NRP
• BSN preferred
• National Certification in Lactation or Perinatal preferred

Role Responsibilities

The Birth Center RN will be responsible for the management and care of:

• Postpartum (PP) and Gynecological (GYN) patients
• Surgical and Medical overflow patients
• Newborns, including assistance with breastfeeding and infant nutrition
• Performing neonatal resuscitation as per NRP guidelines

Physical demands of the role may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
