Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team on a night shift schedule. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in labor and delivery and be ready to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, Either 3×12 or 4×12 is acceptable
• Ratios: 1:1
• Weekend Requirements: Yes (unless scheduling states otherwise)
• Floating Requirements: Yes, within the hospital but not to sister facilities
• Block Schedule: Not open to accommodating blocks unless specified

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to adult women of childbearing age in a supportive environment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during labor and delivery.
• Assist in triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is required.
• First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of L&D experience.
• Certifications Required: BLS and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Epic experience is required.

Additional Information:

• Guaranteed Hours: Providers may be called off without charge in case of low census up to one shift’s worth of hours in a two-week cycle.
• RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Maximum, must work the holidays.
• Monthly Parking Costs: $85.15
