Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medsurg 5 unit, specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical competencies, including an ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medsurg 5 unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess their conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Support and mentor junior staff as necessary.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a relevant specialty.
• Ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to adhere to a flexible schedule, as blocked scheduling cannot be approved.
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be allowed.

Work Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, specifically 4×12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
