Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. This position involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and support their families during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonate patients in the NICU.
• Monitor vital signs and medical conditions of infants under intensive care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Educate families regarding treatment plans, care procedures, and infant health.
• Participate in the continual assessment and improvement of nursing practices and protocols.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
• Required certifications must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Additional Information

This position requires participation in weekly orientation sessions, held on Mondays. Candidates should be able to commit to travel requirements as necessary. A commitment to providing high-quality care in a supportive and progressive community setting is essential.
