Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required; foreign equivalent accepted.
• Two years of occupational therapy experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.

Essential Functions

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to ensure high-quality standards and address specific assessment areas.
• Utilize appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions while adhering to specified treatment protocols and techniques.
• Create individualized care and discharge plans, ensuring effective communication with relevant parties.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervise assigned therapy assistants as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
