Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our float pool team specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry. In this role, you will be required to float to various MedSurg areas as needed, providing high-quality patient care and support across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) system is mandatory.
• Completed skills checklist related to the specialty.
• References available upon request.
• Nursys license verification is required.
• No breaks in the work history greater than 60 days.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will:

• Provide direct patient care and support in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes and acting swiftly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility protocols.
• Float as needed to different departments within the MedSurg areas.
