Medical Assistant

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Certifications: Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• Flu Vaccine: Must comply with vaccination requirements (no declinations or exemptions).
• Special Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent experience with Epic electronic health records.
  • Experience in appointment scheduling and patient registration.
  • Ability to manage 6-8 provider pools and inbox communications.
  • Typing proficiency of 40-45 words per minute.
  • Availability to work weekends is required.

Job Details

• Shift: Available for 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on weekends.
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, weekend availability is mandatory.
