Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care and skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a supportive environment.

Shift Details

• Day and night shifts available: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 12-hour shifts with a requirement for every other weekend and holiday coverage
• Guaranteed 32 hours per week
• Overtime opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient health status and manage patient medication administration.
• Maintain accurate medical records utilizing electronic medical record systems.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• BLS Certification required.

Additional Information

• Orientation includes a brief overview with the leadership team and hands-on training with experienced staff.
• Common patient diagnoses include dementia and geriatrics.
• Facility has a capacity of 51 beds with 2 nurses during the day shift and 1 nurse during the night shift.
