Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a current Alaska RN license and a minimum of two years of nursing experience. This position involves working in a Magnet-designated facility with a focus on quality care.

Key Details

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Options: 3×12 Days or 4×10 Days, with varying start times (either 0645-1915 or 0900-2130)
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• Floating Requirements: May float to like units as needed

Qualifications

• Current Alaska RN license required for auto offer
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical environment
• Certifications Required: BLS; ACLS and CNOR preferred

Additional Information

• This role may require call coverage, limited to coverage for any call-offs only.
• All requests for time off will be approved on an individual basis upon offer; include all RTO in submission.
• Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks, with the possibility of being called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
• Parking is provided free of charge.
• This role involves working in an acute care environment with a total of 407 staffed beds.
• Scrub color will be provided, and charting is completed using Epic.
