Caregiver

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Caregiver with experience in diverse medical specialties, including Orthopedics (Stryker, Arthrex, DePuy), General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), and Endoscopy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility and comfort in working across these areas while providing essential patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients in Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Endoscopy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Participate in departmental on-call rotations to fulfill staffing and surgical coverage requirements.
• Ensure a safe, sterile, and efficient environment during surgical procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Endoscopy.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple specialties and adapt to varying situational demands.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Willingness to provide on-call coverage as needed.

Shift Requirements

The caregiver is expected to work from Monday to Thursday during the hours of 7:30 AM to 5:15 PM.
