Surgical Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.

Schedule

• Varied schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures
• Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile
• Support the surgical team during operations by providing instruments and anticipating needs
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in the operating room
• Adhere to established safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within surgical specialty
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred: Certification as a Surgical Technologist from NBSTA or NCCT

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work a minimum of:

• 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day
• 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
