Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong cardiac background to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing a high-acuity cardiac and cerebrovascular patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Manage and administer cardiac drips such as heparin and nitroglycerin.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with a focus on cardiac care.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records strongly preferred.
• Ability to work 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee.
• Must be available to start within the next 3-5 weeks.

Work Schedule

• Day shift: 3×12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
• Day shift: 4×12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00)

Additional Information

All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission or prior to accepting an offer. Please note that the facility will not accept RTO that spans all holidays.
