ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care float pool. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high-quality care in various ICU settings, working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Details

• Start Date: November 16
• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12 hours
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
• Floating Requirements: Floating within the hospital may be required, but not to sister facilities.
• RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 1 week; must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Unit Information

The critical care float pool encompasses the following units:

• Surgical ICU (5E)
• Cardiac ICU (5SE)
• Cardiothoracic ICU (5SA)
• Medical ICU (6SA)
• Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology ICU
• One mutually agreeable Med-Surg Department

Additional Information

• Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census, healthcare providers may be called off or placed on-call.
• Parking Costs: $10.26 daily
• Charting System: EPIC
