MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess competency in phlebotomy and IV placement as these are essential skills for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with various medical conditions.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage any arising complications.
• Utilize Rapid Response Teams as necessary to ensure optimal patient safety and care.
• Conduct peripheral line care and management, including the use of nasal cannula and face masks for oxygen delivery.
• Handle special equipment such as BIPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, ventilators, and chest tubes.
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs monitoring, blood glucose checks, and EKGs.
• Adhere to isolation precautions as indicated by patient conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• BLS certification is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates must be willing to float between similar units based on facility needs.
• Must have a thorough understanding of patient diagnoses such as acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, and sepsis.

Shift and Scheduling

This position offers a night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00). A commitment to work every other weekend is required.

Notes

• Local candidates residing within a 75-mile radius will not be considered for this position.
• Requests for time off during the contract period are limited to one week.
• Epic charting experience is preferred.

Scrub Requirements

Scrubs should be a combination of navy and white.
