Registered Nurse (RN)

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, providing care for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, our unit handles a high volume of acute and complex patients. In this specialized unit, we utilize state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values the skills, talents, and compassion of nurses while focusing on the care of our diverse patient population.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and respond appropriately in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current RN License in New York.
• A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
