Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a specialized neurological unit.
• Utilize state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, valuing nurses’ skills, talents, and compassion.
• Manage acute and complex patient cases with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Work Environment

This unit is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and is recognized as the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region. Ideal for nurturing your nursing expertise, this setting provides exposure to a diverse range of acute and complex neurological patients.
