NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in the NICU/PICU. This position requires professionals who can provide high-quality care and responsiveness to patient needs in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonates and pediatric patients in intensive care settings.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status and respond accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer therapies and treatments according to established protocols.
• Educate families and caregivers on respiratory health and treatments.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with two years of experience in the NICU/PICU.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
• Ability to work night shifts, specifically 3×12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and on holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information
