Acute Travel RN: MS/Ortho

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel RN with a specialization in Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic nursing. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide quality healthcare in a Level III Trauma Center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, vital signs, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Acute Care setting.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Tennessee.
• Current certifications as required by the state and facility regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. Candidates must reside 60 miles or more away to be considered for travel assignments. All clinical staff are required to undergo state-specific checks, including verification against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the start of the assignment.
