Registered Nurse (RN) – Postpartum

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Postpartum unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maternal care and support for new mothers and babies in their first few days after birth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Assist in the recovery process and educate new mothers on post-delivery care and breastfeeding.
• Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and infants, ensuring safety and effective care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documenting patient care and tracking medical histories.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience.
• Current BLS and IV certification required.
• Proficient in IV start skills with labor and delivery (L&D) experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Shift Details

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
