Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to join our Ambulatory Inpatient Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment options.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Stepdown or Cardiac experience is highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
