Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg team on day shifts. The ideal candidate will possess charge capabilities and be prepared to work with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, geriatric, and general med-surgical patients, as well as swing bed (rehab) and occasionally pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a varied patient population.
• Manage a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5 patients to 1 nurse.
• Supervise and assist in the orientation of new nursing staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience in a Med-Surg setting is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, with one to two weekends required per four-week schedule rotation.
