Radiation Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology unit. This position involves providing advanced patient care in radiation therapy while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for radiation procedures.
• Educate patients about treatment procedures and answer any questions they may have.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy are required.
• Ability to float between like units as needed.
• First-timers are welcome to apply.
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.

Work Schedule

This position is a Day 5×8-Hour shift from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. The facility accommodates scheduling preferences at the manager’s discretion and offers the possibility of local candidates.
