Surgical Technologist

Position Overview:

The Surgical Technologist (ST) is responsible for maintaining a sterile field and instrumentation during surgical procedures. This role involves preparing the operating room and organizing supplies for each surgical case efficiently. The ST will collaborate with all members of the Perioperative team to provide the highest standard of care according to AORN standards during the intraoperative period. Additionally, the ST will assist co-workers with stocking and ordering supplies while providing supportive patient care as directed.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Experience with DaVinci Robot technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, may be obtained upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of recent operating room experience preferred.
• Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Housing Information:

Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It is important to consider housing options in surrounding towns, as costs can be high, especially during winter months.

Shift Information:

This position requires rotating shifts of 3 twelve-hour days each week. Holiday coverage will also be required.

Minimum Years of Experience:

A minimum of three years of experience is required for this position.
