Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist physicians during interventional procedures in both the IR and Cath Lab settings.
• Ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and procedure reports.
• Supervise and train new staff and technologists as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an invasive cardiovascular or procedural setting (Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, EP Lab).
• Experience as a scrub technologist in Cath Lab is preferred.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Radiology Technologist License (LRT) via KSBHA required.
• ARRT (Radiography) certification is required; R.T.(VI – Vascular Interventional Radiography) certification is preferred.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• No pending certifications or licenses will be accepted.
• Clean license with no disciplinary actions or hits.

Work Schedule

This position offers 9-hour day shifts with a requirement for weekend and holiday rotation. The candidate will be expected to be on call one night per week and every fourth weekend.
