Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. The ideal candidate will take on supervisory roles, directing various levels of nursing staff, and effectively coordinating care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking and professional judgment.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will deliver comprehensive care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans. This role involves collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and humane healing environment.

Essential Functions

• Collect and analyze relevant data pertaining to patients’ health or situations.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote health and safety within the environment.
• Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients and families, providing education and guidance on care.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required.
