Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients in a high-quality healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will utilize established standards of care and the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. The role requires critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making abilities.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and utilize strategies to promote health in a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward achieving outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure quality care in a healing and humane environment.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to maintain continuity of care.
• Delegate and coordinate responsibilities among healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
