Job Description

Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Sleep Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing polysomnographic technology services autonomously. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering high-quality sleep medicine care to our patients.

Position Details:

Shift: Nights
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Required Certifications: RPSGT certification and/or state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Missouri, along with BLS certification.
Years of Experience: 1+ years in sleep technology or a related field.

Responsibilities:

As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for:

Performing polysomnographic assessments independently, without supervision from other technical personnel.
Preparing patients for sleep studies, including equipment set-up and providing clear instructions.
Monitoring polysomnographic and audiovisual recordings during sleep studies.
Scoring sleep records effectively and conducting CPAP/BiPap titrations as required.
Ensuring all tasks are aligned with our organizational mission, values, and standards of service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with a diverse patient population in a clinical setting.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work well under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
