Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

This position involves a 12-hour night shift with rotating weekends and a call rotation, typically consisting of one 12-hour shift every six weeks.

Minimum Years of Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required.

Certifications and Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• STABLE certification
• Flu vaccination (mandatory) from October 1st through April 1st; no declinations accepted

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse to join our Family Birth Place Team. The role involves providing care in L&D, as well as operating rooms, post-anesthesia care units (PACU), and postpartum units, delivering couplet care.

Our busy unit sees approximately 60 deliveries each month, with plans to increase to 80 or more deliveries in the coming months. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for stable infants beginning at 32 weeks gestation and possess a strong commitment to evidence-based care and teamwork.
