Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with patient assessments and development of care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30). Additionally, flexibility in scheduling is essential as no schedule requests can be accommodated.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a preference for those experienced in PCU.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Full compliance with required credentials and certifications is mandatory for timely onboarding.

Contract and Orientation Information

The maximum requested time off (RTO) is 7 days, and holiday work is expected based on assignment duration. Candidates must be available to work major holidays if they fall within the contract period, with specific holiday requirements outlined in the contract.

Orientation hours are determined by the length of the assignment, allowing for smooth integration into the unit.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to float within the facility and scope of practice as needed.
• Compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary for a timely start.
• Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate as travelers.
