Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a high-volume post-surgical unit specializing in urology and GYN surgical populations. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to care for a diverse patient population.

Schedule Options

• 3×12 hour shifts
• 4×12 hour shifts

Note: Overtime pay is available after working 48 hours in a 4×12 schedule.

Candidates must be available to work every other weekend, float as required, and be available for holiday shifts within the contract.

Patient Ratios

The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:7. Candidates must be fully prepared and comfortable with this patient ratio prior to submission.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent relevant nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Active RN license in Virginia or a Compact license at the time of submission
• Proficiency in Epic software is required

Required Certifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
