Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a high-volume post-surgical unit. This unit specializes in caring for post-surgical patients, including those from urology and gynecological surgical populations.

Schedule Options

• 3×12-hour shifts
• 4×12-hour shifts

Overtime pay is provided after 48 hours for 4×12 schedules. Please note that weekend, floating, and holiday shifts are required as part of the contract.

Patient Ratios

Typical patient ratio is 1:7. Candidates should be fully informed and comfortable with these ratios before applying.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license must be in hand at the time of application.
• Proficiency in Epic is required.

Required Certifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
